5.8.5 - Release Notes July 24, 2024

 

A huge release this month with a whole bunch of highly anticipated new features, plus a long list of improvements and additions that we think will make your Ticked Off life easier. New Features 🌟

Asset QR Codes: These QR codes provide an efficient way to track and manage assets in real-time. Not only do they allow clients to easily access detailed information about each asset via their smartphones, but users without an account are able to alert you to potential maintenance issue if required.

 
Available Asset Prompt - client: Added prompt for available assets during Work Request (WR) creation. This feature highlights assets that may be relevant to your current request. By clearly listing available assets, you can ensure that any items under warranty are processed appropriately and nominate to the right contractor.
 
Asset Warranty Prompt - supplier: Added prompt for supplier via nomination email. This feature is designed to ensure any items under warranty are actioned appropriately.
 
Merge WRs: Combine Work Requests from the same location with varying categories or priorities.
  • Ability to merge WR from the same location

  • User will only be asked to confirm details that do not match
  • Original WR cancelled, new WR created
New Cloned Request Functionality: Dynamic options available depending on WR being cloned. Additions include
  • Keep original location photos
  • Keep original location documents
  • Keep original asset
  • Keep original supplier
  • Keep original unfinished checklist
  • Create new checklist using existing template
  • Select status
  • Select priority
Auto-nomination Override: Option to nominate WRs to an alternative supplier during the approval stage. By allowing an auto-nomination override, the system enhances the ability to maintain continuity and quality of service, ensuring that the best possible supplier is allocated for the task at hand.
 
Unconfirmed User Accounts: We have introduced functionality to easily track user account confirmation via the user list view page, in the form of a status. New users will display as “pending” until their account has been confirmed. Once confirmed their status will transition to active.
 
Updates to Batch Requests: Improved performance and accuracy through enhanced batch processing.
  • Ability to Batch all priorities
  • Option to batch requests with various sub-categories, provided a supplier can handle all included categories.
  • Suppliers can input call-out/hourly rates as custom items if no items are saved.
  • Administrators can modify existing call-out fees.

Drag & Drop: Drag and drop photos and documents effortlessly, simplifying the process. With the convenience of dragging and dropping multiple items at once, saving you time and effort.
  • Seamlessly export multiple “list view” pages with just a few clicks.
Job Limit Exceeded - Supplier: This popup is intended to inform suppliers that the job limit for this request has been surpassed. They will be prompted to supply a reason or input any approval instructions they have received.
 
Job Limit Exceeded - Administrator: Notify the administrator when supplier costs surpass the job limit. The job limits will be highlighted in red, and the supplier reason will appear under the items table.

Improvements 🏗️

Location CSV Import: Additional fields are now available for location CSV import/edit, enhancing data management.
 
Brand Categories CSV Import: Configure brand categories through CSV to streamline data management.
 
“Status” in API: The request API now includes "Status" in query parameters for improved data filtering.
 
Brand Label QR: Brand labels are now integrated into Location QR codes for easier identification.
 
Shopping Centre Listed: Shopping centre merge field has been added to New Location email notifications.
 
Revert Notifications: Notifications are now correctly sent following a revert action.
 
User Push Notifications: Enhanced functionality for push notification via user preferences.

Sign In/Out Alerts: Updated sign in/out alerts for an improved user experience.

Auto Nomination: Improved auto nomination override functionality.

Status Bar: The Status Bar dropdown has been updated for more intuitive navigation.

Client/Brand in WR Reports: Client and brand information now included in WR reports.

Deep Links Access: Enhanced access to deep links after session timeouts.

User on Leave Pill: Now also applies to delegation and redelegation functionality.
 

Bug Fixes 🐞

  • Invoice Reader: Resolved issues with editing the attend date of requests using Xtracta.
  • Search Invoice Numbers: The WR list view search bar now accurately searches invoice numbers.
  • Samsung Camera WR: Samsung users can now use device cameras to raise WRs.
  • Auto Sign Out: Ensured users are auto-signed out as intended based on selected timeframes.
  • Files & Links Auto-save: The issue with items not auto-saving has been resolved.
  • Sign Out Merge Field: Fixed issues with the sign-out date/time merge field.
  • WR On Hold: Addressed issues with placing WRs on hold.
  • Subscription Date: Resolved issues with subscription date management.
  • OOSLA: Fixed the issue with the out-of-SLA reason not saving.

Notification Issues 📧

  • New Location Emails: Issues with new location emails have been resolved.
  • Notification History: Display issues in Notification History have been corrected.
  • Notification Delay: Delays in notification delivery have been resolved.
  • Invoice as an attachment: The merge field for attaching invoices is now functioning correctly.
  • Duplicate Roles: Issues with role duplication affecting notifications have been fixed.
  • Subscription Reviews: Subscription review emails are no longer sent daily.
